So what does GK Unions do on the Medway campus?

GK Unions runs and supports the following for students on the Medway campus: an Advice Centre, The Deep End Bar, Sports Clubs, Societies, Events, Give-It-A-Go Activities (where students can try out different sports and societies).

So what do the 'home' Unions do on the Medway campus?

Broadly speaking the 'home' student unions' support the development of Student Voice on the Medway campus - which is done via the elected Course/Faculty Reps. and via elected student student union officers. This means that 'home unions' role is to support students to have their 'voice' heard/represented on education issues e.g. courses.

'Home' unions also have the important role of providing leadership to the work of GK Unions on campus via the GK Unions Partnership Board and making sure that the development of the new Student Hub that will be opening on campus in September 2016 is student-led.

What happens to money that people spend with GK Unions?

Any money that people spend with GK Unions is reinvested to benefit Medway students.
