2nds stormed to a 2-0 Victory against UCL 3rd team today. Ollie Miller and Palvy Manduakila with the goals leaving their opposition with the bitter taste of defeat in their mouths as they headed home.

2nds Dominated the first half giving no chances and took the lead 20 minutes in. Matt Tapley with a perfectly accurate cross straight onto Ollie's chest and into the back of the net! The lead was doubled shortly after when Matt stormed down the wing and played a ball across goal for Palvy to casually strike it home! Solid defensive performance and clean sheet to boot.

1sts played to an excellent standard of netball and for the first time really connected as a team, it was an exceedingly close game with an extraordinary amount of tension right up until the final whistle as it was neck and neck the whole way through! Sadly Essex pinched the win but we are all feeling very confident that we'll have them next time!

They were lacking their two main shooters Emily and Liz so other girls kindly stepped up to fill their places in positions that they were not familiar with and did a very good job considering the circumstances! Defensively 2nds had Arts the whole game and it's such a shame the result wasn't what was wanted but it was a brilliant effort especially with all the changes in positions.
