We all had a lot of fun and it was a great experience. Unfortunately we didn't win but it gave us a really good chance to play as a team and build chemistry.

Football 1st, By Vice President Waza Mutambirwa

Today's fixture Medway 1sts were up against Kent university  in a massive Derby.  Must win game for both teams.  Medway started well and dominated possession but Kent scored against run of play and went 1-0 up. Medway continued dominating play and attacking and were rewarded with a goal 10 minutes before half time with the goal coming from Dennis Oppong 1-1. Medway kept of going and going but rued couple chances and it was 1-1 at the break.  Medway continued the second half the way we ended the first half and as usual weren't taking chances. Kent  were sitting deep and just counter attacking and a mistake from the defender put the Kent  midfielder through on goal and he made no mistake 2-1. Medway pressed and pressed for an equaliser and through bodies forward in a desperate attempt to salvage something from the game. Kent once again counter attacked from medways attack and made it 3-1.  Medway had a couple of penalty appeals but it wasn't to be.

Player of the match - Dennis Oppong
