The need for support from local food banks across Medway and Kent has tripled in the last few weeks with families and individuals struggling to afford their basic essentials while coping with the Coronavirus outbreak.

If you are healthy and able to volunteer at the Food Bank, please get in touch with volunteering@gkunions.co.uk as their response is evolving at the moment and they are asking for a bank of volunteers to call upon if needed.
Please remember there are also ways you can help from your own home!
Support with donations
We will be needing increased funds. Please only do this if you are financially able to. See the donation page here.
Support while you shop
Drop items into their baskets at large supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda and Morrisons. See the list here.
Support while you shop online
Use the Spareable app – all food is delivered to us for free, and we are receiving regular deliveries. They do have quite a limited range of items but they are all priority items for us so do have a go but only if you are financially able to.
Download the app for your phone or tablet.

This Weeks' Top Podcast Recommendation -

'Feel Better, Live More' with Dr Chatterjee.

Whether you want to have some background noise while you work or tune in and immerse yourself - you can't go wrong with this weeks' pick.

Since its launch in January 2018, the ‘Feel Better, Live More’ podcast has grown rapidly to become the Number 1 health podcast in the UK.  You don't have to listen in order, just dip in and out when one takes your fancy.  We would recommend the anxiety ones during this period.

Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviour. Keep your behaviour positive because your behaviour becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.
